Dr. John Ashcraft
Doctor Of Chiropractic
Dr. John Ashcraft first discovered chiropractic following a wrestling injury at age 12. His parents took him to the local Chiropractor in the upstate NY town where he was raised. On the way home from his miraculous first visit, his father asked him how he felt and his reply was "I'm going to be a Chiropractor!" After a series of treatments, not only did he feel better from his injury, but he no longer experienced asthma or allergies. He chased his passion and loves his profession more now than he did when he started practicing 12 years ago.
Dr. A earned an exceptional upstate NY education, receiving his degree from the State University of New York at Oswego, with a major in Biology and minor in Health Sciences. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude near the top of his class at New York Chiropractic College, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree as a member of the Phi Chi Omega honor society. He is currently the only active member in North Carolina in the American Academy of Spine Physicians, an elite group of Chiropractic Physicians and Neurosurgeons who work cooperatively to treat neurological conditions.
Following his first two years gaining valuable experience in a family and wellness clinic, Dr. A joined a Sports Medicine team. For seven years he gained priceless knowledge as the Chiropractic Physician in a multidisciplinary practice consisting of a Chiropractor, an Orthopedic Surgeon, a Physician's Assistant, and a Physical Therapist. As a proud husband and father, he is excited to bring the wisdom and training back to the family and wellness setting to aid in the health and wellness of all people of all ages from the infants to the elderly.
In his career, Dr. A has treated thousands of patients with a wide range of conditions. He specializes in neurological conditioning and extremity protocols, as well as nutritional and exercise rehabilitation. Moreover, he aids his wellness patients in maintaining optimal health through gaining natural immunity and sports enhancement.
When not helping the community to achieve greater health and wellness, you may find Dr. Ashcraft exercising, coaching local youth wresting, reading, boating on Lake Norman, attending Lake Forest church services, or his favorite thing in the world; spending quality time with his wonderful wife Tara and their children Mason, Avery, Hadley and Charley.
